Today I had the immense pleasure to visit Bilston Creek Lavender Farm here on Vancouver Island, Canada.
We started by harvesting wheelbarrows full of lavender which was wonderful not only because the scent is divine, but also it was uplifting and cheerful to see all the happy bee buzzing about!
After an hour or so of harvesting, we loaded up the still with our fresh lavender bounty and waited for the magic to happen.
